On June 27, 2008, China Merges & Acquisitions Association (CMAA), the People¡¯s Bank of China Shanghai Head Office, and Financial Services Office of Shanghai Municipal People¡¯s Government jointly held the ¡°2008 China M&A Annual Conference¡± at Pudong Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai. The 2008 China M&A special awards ceremony is also held in this annual conference, and a total of 25 awards had been emerged. |

On January 7, 2008, the ¡°2007 China Top 10 M&A Dealmakers¡± and ¡°2007 China Top 10 M&A Deals¡± were announced by Beijing Equity Exchange, the CMAA chairman unit on duty. In the end, Li Rongrong, Lou Jiwei, Liang Jinsong, etc. were ranked among the ¡°2007 China Top 10 M&A Dealmakers¡±; and the combat of Daneng and Wahaha, China Investment¡¯s entry into Blackstone, and Ping an¡¯s acquisition of Futong were ranked among the ¡°2007 China Top 10 M&A Deals¡±. This election was jointly initiated and held by CMAA, Global M&A Research Center and www.mergers-china.com. |
